Google Reader
My google homepage disappeared yesterday. I don’t know why, but wonder if an upgrade was botched since it’s back again today as if nothing ever happened. During the downtime I investigated google reader. I like it: just as gmail re-invents the email client, so google reader re-invents the news reader as a way of finding and organising feeds. So now I’ve replaced a number of feeds on my google homepage with a single google reader gadget.

Looks like it was indeed a google homepage (now known as iGoogle) hiccup.
