ACCU Conference 2008
I’ve just noticed the schedule for the ACCU 2008 conference has been posted, and it’s looking stronger than ever.
The conference will be held in Oxford, from Wednesday 2nd April to Saturday 5th April. I’m not going to reproduce any other information you can find on the official website, except this:
The conference is usually a sell-out, so book online today to secure your place!
If you care about software development, I’d recommend attending. It’s not just for C and C++ programmers, and it’s not just for programmers: there’s plenty of stuff on process, project management and so on. If your employers care about training and development, ask them to pay — where else could you get Simon Peyton Jones and Joe Armstrong to teach you Haskell and Erlang? Or Gail Ollis to discuss Santa Claus? Or … well, just checkout the schedule for yourself!
